Years of hydrogen sulfide gasses accelerated the corrosion of this 300mm (12”) sewer pipeline, leaving it heavily tuberculated with the upstream manhole in a very bad shape.

No problem for Daito CO., LTD., who accepted the challenge with a smile. The tuberculation was removed, as if it was butter, with Sewer Robotics’ WJ125 precision jet cutter at 1000bar (14,500psi). Leaving a clean pipe, ready for lining.

After installation of the UV liner, the WJ125 water jet module was switched for the HA125 cutter to reinstate the lateral connections. The upstream manhole was rehabilitated to finish the work.
