In Granada Hills, Los Angeles, a pool contractor illegally dumped blue pool plaster into a manhole, causing a severe obstruction in the sewer system. The material hardened inside the line, leaving 35 feet of an 8-inch pipe half filled and restricting flow through multiple laterals.

At Sewer Robotics, we offer free-of-charge sample tests to answer the critical question: “What pressure does it take to remove this material?” Send us your samples and let Sewer Robotics provide you with the answers.

Our 15+ years of UHP water jet cutting experience can be recognized in the designs and features of our precise and reliable directional cutting robots that are easy to operate and easy to service.

Our robots are built for water jet cutting! Durable and with enough freedom of movement to apply a powerful water blast, directly to the material, under the right angle and with constant camera supervision from inside 150 – 1000mm (6 – 40”) pipelines.

Our story
Two operators, tasked with removing a massive root blockage from a sewer pipeline, had the great idea of equipping a robot crawler with a high-pressure jet.

The Colus Specialist Projects Team has been working at the Ibrox Stadium, the home for the Scottish Champions ‘The Rangers’, at their new museum, removing 12m of concrete running up to 100% in a 450mm pipe.

How to remove a failed or collapsed CIPP liner? Simply with High Pressure Water Jet Cutting.
In this video a failed, partially uncured, liner with a massive wave (shark fin) at the bottom was removed from a 450mm (18”) host pipe with the Sewer Robotics WJ180 Water Jet Cutting Sewer Robot.

The calcium in this coated VCP 12″ sewer pipe was more than half the diameter of the inside of the pipe and had formed a “pipe in a pipe”. Pacific Sewer Maintenance broke that internal calcium structure into smaller manageable pieces for easy removal with a jetting truck. 600 feet of pipe back to 100 % capacity.

The Sewer Robotics mobile MH60 cable reel and CP3DP control unit were successfully used to remove over 5m (15ft) of concrete from an antique 500mm (20″) brick storm water pipeline inside one of London’s oldest subway station.
